Badajoz Airport (BJZ)
Airlines, Terminals and Facilities

(Badajoz, Extremadura, Spain)

Badajoz Airport has a single passenger terminal, which handles all domestic and international flights. Most of the air traffic is domestic, with scheduled flights run by Iberia Air. Barajas-Madrid and Barcelona are the only two airports in Spain which have regularly scheduled flights.

The airport only has basic facilities for passengers. There is a single café providing a range of food and drink. Two travel agents have offices in the terminal to help travellers with tours and bookings.

Basic travelling necessities such as ATM machines, pay phones and televisions are available throughout the terminal. There is also a bank and currency exchange bureau to handle any financial needs.

An information desk can be found within the terminal, near the departure gate, to assist with left luggage and other local travel assistance.

Badajoz Airport is completely accessible to disabled travellers, with lowered telephone booths and specially fitted toilets in the terminal. Ramps and lifts are also located around the airport where applicable.

Disabled passengers are advised to contact their airline ahead of time if they need specific help with their travels.

Helitt Lineas Aéreas serves as the principal airline operating here, flying to and from the Spanish cities of both Barcelona and Madrid.
